Our formulation uses the maximum allowable strength of Salicylic Acid (2%) for at-home cleansers. Salicylic Acid is a "Beta-hydroxy acid" that works in a similar way to Glycolic Acid by ungluing the dead cells in the outer layer of the skin resulting in an exfoliation. However, Salicylic Acid penetrates deeper and cleanses the pores better than Glycolic Acid. This is key for those with acne-prone skin, as we know that acne starts with a clogged pore. This cleanser utilizes non-comedogenic foaming ingredients to help reduce acne breakouts.
It is also very effective at removing the dead cell layer of dry-skinned people exposing the youthful, glowing skin underneath.
Our clients use this cleanser in the shower on all the acne prone sections of the skin such as the face, shoulders, bikini area, chest, face, back and neck. It can be used twice a day on the face for those that have active acne. It is also available combined with other acne products in our Acne Kits.
